The snow is falling outside and you know what that means…WINTER COATS!!! I decided to do a blog all about winter fashions for this season, but also keep you on a budget. My favorite store to turn to for coats and other pieces of clothing that are usually expensive, is H&M! They always have things that are fun and versatile. You can seriously change around all the different pieces and create several different outfits. So let’s get started!

Peacoats are once again the thing to have this season. Make sure not to buy one that is too long for your body, it should hit just below the top of your pants. These jackets are just the thing to polish off any outfit
I am a total jacket FREAK!!! I love going into a store and just looking at jackets because I feel like they tie everything together. Also, if you aren’t feeling like getting completely ready they can hide your laziness.

I really love henleys. They can be worn at all times of the year, and even come in short sleeved versions. Also, look for different types of patters, but try to stick to solid colors.
Shirts can be a great way to show off your body shape and size. Try to get things that fit well in the shoulders and chest, but also have a taper to them. You have to show off that great “V” shape!!

SCARVES!!!! I know that summer scarves were huge this year, but why not wear one all year round. I think they add a european feel to the outfit and also can give you that casual or dressed up feel. Buy LOTS of scarves this season.
Accessories, especially scarves, are the spice of life for an outfit. They really are your chance to show a bit of personality and edge. Make sure not to put too many with one outfit, there is overkill. Some ideas are leather cuffs, rings, necklaces, bracelets, hats, and scarves. Show off your personal sense of style.

Jeans are a year round thing, but in the winter stick to dark washes. You can wear them with more things, and they can be dressed up or down. Try to avoid holes as well, because it might be cold getting a draft.
Jeans are the staple in my wardrobe. I need to have several on hands at all times because I’ll never know when I need to change. A little tip for those who are wearing jeans with holes in them, put long underwear underneath. It looks cool and also keeps you warms. Also, be sure to match them to what you’re wearing and make them pop.
So that is a little rundown on my picks for winter fashion. I really think that dressing for winter shouldn’t be difficult, but you need to find things that flatter your shape and style. Check out H&M for ideas and other stores where you can get a lot without breaking the bank.
Fashion is something that is so important with the industry that I’m in. You always need to look your best, and when you’re out and about you never know who might want to take your picture. Sometimes I find it hard, with being a surviving actor, to dress and impress. In the end it all comes down to how you wear it, not how it wears you. I guess we’ll just have to see what happens with those pictures from Park City!

Excellent job!!! Peacoats, definitely a classic item (H&M has some nice A-line cuts for women, and modern cuts for men). HENLEYS are by far the most versatile thing for guys like me…who knew fashion could meet functionality, have babies and name them…HENLEY.
